Q: How do I contact Safety Software for technical support?

Technical support is available 8:30-6:00 EST, M-F, by emailing  or by calling 434.817.0911. If during these hours you reach voice mail, please leave your name, company name, serial number, and phone number. We will return your call as soon as possible.

Q: What information will I need to provide when requesting technical support?

In order to provide technical support, you need to know your product serial number and where the program and the Borland Database Engine are installed (Defaults are C:\SOS and C:\Idapi).

Q: Where do I find this information?

To locate the product serial number, open the program and from the main menu, click Help/About on the menu bar. The serial number is displayed. It can also be found on the front of the product case.

In Windows Explorer, use the search function to locate the SOS directory and the Idapi directory.
